There are no shops at Camp, but downtown Squamish is only about a 15 minute drive away. Here's our packing list suggestions so you have everything you need to have a comfortable and relaxing weekend.
Please keep in mind that the weather is very changeable in the spring! Hopefully we'll get lucky and have gorgeous sunny weather, but pack for the worst, just in case.
Here are some things you might want to bring:
- Your best and most creative "What does a Canadian look like?" costume for Friday evening, there will be a prize for the best costume! Flex those creative muscles! Some ideas to get you started: Canadian Tuxedo, Lumberjack, Vancouver Hipster, Toronto Banker, Saltspring Hippy, Oakville Yuppie, etc...
- Wedding attire (Dress code: Cocktail - suits optional) for the Ceremony and Dinner Saturday afternoon/evening.
- Warm clothes for the evening: jackets, sweaters, things you’re comfortable sitting around a campfire in.
- Musical instruments for around the campfire.
- A potluck contribution for Friday evening (only if you're local) and any special snacks or drinks you may want over the weekend
- Your own drinks, if you want something specific. We will provide kegs of beer Friday for the potluck, and a full open bar Saturday though!
- Comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in for outdoor activities (kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, etc.)if you want to explore Saturday morning or Sunday afternoon.
